With the hands of a poet, the voice of an angel, and the desire to touch the world through her songwriting, NOELLE has arrived and is ready to up the ante in the music game and she coming with a full house! As little girls, women often fantasize about becoming an actress, writer, doctor, or maybe a singer…however few pave the road to their dream with a high school All-American accolade, a bid to the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship, singing in nightly shows on the famous Las Vegas Strip and being selected as a Star Search Female Vocal Finalist, that is however unless your name is…NOELLE.
As a collegiate basketball player NOELLE was able to contribute to a first runner-up performance in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship, four Colonial Athletic Association championships, (to continue the Lady Monarchs record for the most consecutive conference championships secured by any team of any sport in college history), and several accolades for academic honors as a collegiate athlete. In the midst of all the training and fan fare of playing as a Lady Monarch, NOELLE was still able to find a place at home, center stage singing the National Anthem on several sold-out occasions for the Monarch fans. After four years of test taking, ball playing, and anthem singing, NOELLE had her degree, a B.S. in Human Services and Counseling, 5 championships rings, and a burning desire to return to singing full time. NOELLE departed from Old Dominion University leaving behind her contribution to a legacy, a whole new set of family, friends, and fans but moving one step closer towards her dream…
NOELLE returned to Las Vegas and immediately began her plan of action. She knew that she wanted to sing and perform live onstage. NOELLE found her self in the middle of the performance capital of the world pounding the pavement and hustling from job to job. Soon she quickly landed a nightly gig performing at the LUXOR, Excalibur, and Paris hotel and casinos. At six nights a week NOELLE sang in an all-male band performing in a show with top 40 hits, and 70 & 80’s music for the masses. She enjoyed every second as her resume continued to grow, but she knew that this experience was only the start of perfecting her craft. Once again NOELLE ventured out and away from home, this time setting her sites on Los Angeles, California.
Arriving in Los Angeles, NOELLE quickly discovered that what she had planned as a two-month visit would definitely become a career long investment. NOELLE was embraced immediately by the music community and bombarded with requests to bless the tracks of many producers. From the beats of up and coming independents like Justin Henderson a.k.a. J-HEN (Lloyd Banks/G-Unit) to the bass-driven tracks of West coast sensation Fredwreck (Snoop, Nate Dogg, WC) NOELLE has prided herself in making music with the best of the best. Like any artist, NOELLE has a dream to continue expanding her horizons to the masses, a dream that she is very close to fulfilling!
Moving into a new year, 2005 will be another rung on her star studded ladder as this diva continues to shake up the music scene. NOELLE is quickly becoming known as the Beauty to the Beast of the hip-hop game, and “Queen of the Remix” serving up one smash after another collaborating with some of hip-hop's up & coming artists. Her recent signing to Rock Hill Productions has the hip-hop world on the edge of their seats as the dangerous duo puts the game on alert working with none other than POWER 106's DJ Felli Fel.
NOELLE's presence is being felt across the country. Her remix of the #1 single "Gangsta Nation" by Westside Connection called "Riding With Me” was creatively turned into a smash R&B song that not only the Los Angeles radio market embraced, but NOELLE's remix was heard across the country. The follow up to “Gangsta Nation” was the hit song “I Already Know” the answer to Mario Winan’s “I Don’t Wanna Know,” which began frenzy with worldwide radio play, mix tape love, deejay support, and a growth of new fans. Because it was an undeniable hit, radio stations began playing the song excluding the fact that NOELLE was an unsigned artist. Her current collaboration with DJ Felli Fel entitled “Drop It Like It’s Hot LADIES REMIX” is creating a buzz once again on radio and in the club circuit. The two have developed an original, but unique and universal sound together, guaranteed to set NOELLE apart from any other female artist. Honest concepts on songs such as “Fly Me,” “I’m Not Her,” and “The Weekend” will gain the respect of men and support of women of all ages who value and appreciate the originality of raw R&B music. Upcoming collaborations with Mike Jones (Warner Bros), T-Weaponz (Sony and Republik/Universal), and Pitbull, (TVT) Noelle will reach fans from the south to the nation-wide fans of latin hip hop. Her first single off the album “All About Me” featuring hip hop legend Dj Kool is quickly spreading across radio stations and mixtapes all over the country on a word-of-mouth basis, proving that NOELLE with zero promotion has what it takes to mark her territory amongst other R&B song stresses.
NOELLE's work ethic and determination has proven worthy not only in the music studio, but also in the television studio as well. NOELLE's music can be heard accompanying the background of one of televisions funniest sitcoms, “EVE” on UPN. Recent placements include songs in the movies “Baby For Sale” (Lifetime) and “Hair Show” (Urban Works Entertainment). Invites to perform have also lead her to guest appearances on such as THE DROP, the Hispanic-version of TRL on Si’ TV. NOELLE performed her current radio song “I Already Know” and also was interviewed in front of a live audience. Not only did she win over the audience, NOELLE had the opportunity to reach the Hispanic community in over seven million homes.
The beauty that radiates from within this benevolent soul is the same that shines for the world to see, as NOELLE appears in the Spring national print ad for K-Swiss as well as the national K-Swiss commercial. NOELLE also represents and is sponsored by the shoe line Michael Antonio (www.michaelantonio.com) known for their sexy, urban style that continuously appears in several magazines from Essence to Teen Magazine. This sexy shoe line discovered NOELLE’s website (over 10,000 hits in 3 months with zero promotion) and quickly contacted to her to sponsor all of her upcoming shows and/or appearances for the young songbird. NOELLE quickly did a photo shoot and now can be seen on upcoming catalogs for Michael Antonio as well as their promotional materials. Soon NOELLE will be seen on their official website with news, photos, and song snippets, reaching even more people and gaining a larger and more diverse fan base. NOELLE was also a featured runway model for Angela Dean’s formal line at the Black Business Expo (www.deanzign.com) with gowns worn by Halle Berry, Patti Labelle, and Jada Pinkett-Smith to name a few.
There is a lot to be said for a young woman that is so very blessed, loved, and so very talented...but the words that define NOELLE the best comes from the mouths of thousands of fans that visit NOELLE’s website simply trying to find the mysterious “Queen of the Mixtape;” a title she’ll hold down while putting out her own original material.
More than anything else NOELLE is honesty…plain and simple. This is the talent that God has given her to share with the world, and it shows in everything she does. Whether she is writing, singing, playing basketball, working out, or enjoying her favorite past time…re-runs of the infamous Martin Lawrence show “Martin”, it is done with all the passion this artist’s 6-foot frame can stand. She lives in the way that with God, all things are possible and He will continue to show his grace in her lyrics, in her voice, and finish it beautifully with her smile.
Simply put…NOELLE is the perfect verse over a tight beat.
